Thank you for visiting Five County’s Local Management Entity (LME) website. Five County Mental Health Authority (FCMHA) is the local agency that manages publicly-funded mental health, developmental disabilities, and substance abuse services for Franklin, Granville, Halifax, Vance and Warren counties. Our primary responsibility is to oversee and manage a system of care for consumers and their families.
As a LME, FCMHA is tasked with several system management functions. Five County does not provide direct services to individuals. We connect consumers to a network of public and private independent direct-service providers delivering mental health, developmental disability, and substance abuse services. Through this effort, Five County works with Providers to ensure that services are available in the communities in our catchment area, and that consumers have a choice from whom they receive their care.
This website has been created to help consumers, family members, providers, and the community access valuable information about the mental health, developmental disabilities, and substance abuse service delivery system in our area. We are continuously improving our website and adding to the information and resources on this site. The information is organized into different categories to assist you in quickly finding information you need. We’re pleased to have you join our community of consumers, families and professionals concerned with the lives of people who experience mental health, developmental disabilities or substance abuse issues.
